Mario Guslandi at SF Site writes a glowing review of The Girl With No Hands and other tales.

Her enticing stories are set in a magical world in which reality is colourful and fascinating, made of that elusive, precious substance of which dreams are made. The Girl with No Hands collects sixteen enchanting fairy tales for grownups penned by this incredibly talented writer.

S.S. White at Calico Reaction rates The Girl With No Hands and other tales a Must Have.

And for the most part, I was entranced. Oh sure, some tales had me scratching my head a bit, but overall, I inhaled this collection, and as I finished, I finished with the knowledge that it's a collection I'll return to in time, and if you know me, you know that my desire to re-read anything at all is a rare, rare thing.

Scary Minds Reviews The Girl With No Hands and other tales.

And gives it 10 stars.

I had an absolutely marvellous time with The Girl With No Hands and enjoyed each of the sixteen stories the collection contained. While I've mentioned the similarities between Ms Slatter's stories and the traditional faery tale this should in no way imply that the Author is writing children's fiction, each of the stories is an absorbing yarn that talks in an adult voice. Angela Slatter presents a series of remarkably good female role models for teens that should have parents of those teens rushing their local bookshops to get a copy of the collection in preference to glittering vampires and the big V on her forehead Bella. Okay full recommendation, I've got nothing else to say, go buy the book.

Dirty Sexy Books Gives The Girl With No Hands 5 Stars!

"After I had my first dark, delicious taste of Angela Slatter’s idea of a fairy tale in her first story, “Bluebeard,” I was addicted to The Girl With No Hands.  I wanted to slow down and savor these potent little creations, but I could not stop reading, and now all I want to do is go back and reread them again.  I love fairy tales, and I still have all of the old books that I used to read as a kid, but I think those cherished memories are going to take a backseat to this collection."

Our thoughts are with those doing their best to cope with the devastating flooding, cyclones and fires wreaking havoc across Australia. We hope that everyone makes it through these challenging times with their strength and spirit intact.

At TP we do love our books, each and every copy. We're an Australian press, and we've sold a lot of books around Australia. We know it's not much, but we'd like to offer the following to our antipodean (Aus & NZ) customers.

We know that you love our books too. We also know that, in times such as these, there will be other things on your mind. If any of your TP books are damaged in the floods, fires, cyclones or other similar natural or unnatural disasters, please let us know, when you get a moment, and we'll send you new copies for free.

(We hate to put a disclaimer on this, but this only applies if it is a title currently in print. If it is an out of print book, we'll try to help find a replacement copy.)

UPDATE 7 JUNE 2016.

Due to some unforeseen family health issues, we are closed to all unsolicited submissions until further notice.

If you do have something under submission with us, we will endeavour to get back to you ASAP.

Many thanks for your patience and understanding.
