Ticonderoga Publications is excited to announce the forthcoming publication of the first collection by internationally-celebrated Western Australian fantasy writer, Juliet Marillier.

The yet-to-be-titled collection is scheduled for publication in April 2013.

"Juliet Marillier is among the strongest voices writing in the genre, and we are really thrilled to be able to work with her,” Ticonderoga Editor Russell B Farr said.

"It’s also really great to be publishing a fellow West Australian," Russell B Farr added.

Born in New Zealand, Juliet Marillier is the author of thirteen novels for readers of all ages. Her bestselling fantasy series include The Sevenwaters quintet, the Saga of the Light Isles, The Bridei Chronicles and the Wildwood series. She lives in Perth, in a one hundred-year-old cottage, which she shares with three dogs.

Juliet Marillier is a three-times winner of the Aurealis Award for best fantasy novel. Publisher's Weekly calls her "a fine folklorist and gifted narrator."

The book will collect the best of Marillier’s published stories, and additional tales written especially for this collection.

The sale was made via Russell Galen of the Scovil Galen Ghosh Literary Agency, Inc.

The collection is scheduled for publication in April 2013. The collection will be available in limited edition hardcover, trade hardcover and paperback, and ebook editions.
